Rumahku, Bantingku...

Alhamdulillah, dapat juga pulang ke rumah akhirnya. Lama dah tak balik ke rumah semenjak raya lagi. Rindu sangat-sangat dah dekat rumah. Rumah saya terletak di Banting, Selangor. Pada hari Ahadnya, ssya temankan mak pergi ke Pasar Tg. Sepat. sambil-sambil tu dapatla saya bawa kereta, lama sangat dah tak bawa, takut terlupa jer. Ahamdulillah, tak pun. Tg. Sepat dari rumah saya adalah dalam lebih kurang 40 minit. Pasar Tg. Sepat biasa jer. lebih kecil lagi dari Pasar Banting tapi yang seronoknya ikan di sana memang baru-baru dan segar lagi. Apa yang menarik perhatian saya dan mak ialah ikan-ikan tue memang baru sahaja dihantar ke situ dengan menaiki motor. Dan tauke-tauke ikan pun mulala mengira-ngira ikan tue, lepas ikan tue dikira barulah boleh dibeli. Itupun orang dah ramai tunggu dan kebanyakan ikan-ikan dah ada orang yang punya. Mengikut kata mak saya (almaklumlah saya tak berapa nak expert tengok ikan-ikan nih), ikan tu semuanya cantik-cantik, berkilat-kilat dan harga pun rendah sikitla berbanding bila dah sampai pasar Banting.Habis jer sebakul ikan, ikan lain pula sampai untuk dikira-kira. Seronok sangat kami tengok. Dalam pada tu, sempat juga saya ternampak seoang nenek digigit ketam yang masih hidup lagi semasa sedang memilih-milih dan bila cucu nenek tu pula datang nak pegang ketam, riuh nenek itu halang. Haha, kelakar

Selepas itu, saya balik kampung pula, kampung saya memang dalam perjalanan balik rumah pun, Kg. Endah. Sampai sana jer, pakcik saya kata makcik saya kat rumah jiran, ada masak-masak untuk kenduri doa selamat kecil-kecilan. Pulak dah, dengan tak dirancang-rancang, pergila saya ke rumah jiran tadi. Rupa-rupanya, mereka masak-masak untuk kenduri doa selamat buat anak jiran yang nak bertolak balik ke mesir tak lama lagi tapi yang menariknya kenduri doa selamat tu dia panggil aknak-kanak jer. Apa ntah nama dia, saya terlupa. Saya macam xcited juga la sebab saya x pernah mengalami sebelum ini. mak saya kata memang saya tak pernah sebab saya duduk kawasan perumahan. Majlis ini selalunya dibuat di kampung je, itupun dah makin kurang. Menu yang lain daripada lain ialah mungkin atas nasi putih ada telur rebus di samping ayam masak kicap,mi hun, kacang, ikan masin dan serunding. Ada juga bubur nasi berwarna merah.

Balik rumah kali ni kiranya menimba pengalaman barula, pertama tengok ina yang masih segar-segar lagi dan keduanay dapat tahu satu lagi adat yang makin lama makin luput. Kesimpulannya, balik kampung memang BEST..!!!

I never thought i would have a blog. Not even thinking about making one or creating one though I love to read other people blog. But, in ICT class, I learn how to make blog. My OWN blog. We need to create our own blog as it is one of the assessment. Madam had invited En Junaidi and he teach us how to start blogging. First, we need to make a G mail account. Then, we followed his step one by one. Our task are to make an educational blog consist of 6 main topic that is Biodata, Carrier Development Plan, Teaching Philosophy, Assignment, reflection and artifact. So, slowly we began to discover the world of blogging. We can put many things in the blog like picture, music, video and more. To me, blog is like our electronic diary, we can tell everything that we want to tell here. Blog has followers which can read our posting and give comment. Other people can also do the same. Now, I think that I already find my new hobby, of course BLOGGING! I plan to make another blog- the one that not educational like this but I need time to do it. perhaps during holiday. Because of them, I know how to blogging and I started to like it. Before this, I always thought that we can only search thing online but now i realize there are so much thing that we can do with ICT. I started to know Picasa, Google Docs, How to make a document in Scribd, Cool Iris, Simulation and many more.

My Own Philosophy

I am very simple person. But, I've been living in this world with these 4 simple philosophy of my own:

Number one :
>Never give up no matter what happen.<

Never ever! Even if the thing that u try to do is really hard and you feel like you cannot cope with it, but keep trying till the end. if you give up, then you a real loser, the whole world will lough at you dear. In my many years as a student, I do find out that this quote is the best especially when I am about to give up over my marks and everything.

Number two:
>Always be positive in thinking<

Have in mind that everything that happen happens for reason. We as a human have to accept our destiny and go on with it. Always happy because happiness are the source of everything. even the thing is very bad, take the matter positively, try to relax and start to find the solution on how to handle it well.

Number three:
>Always smile :)<

Smile purely and it make us more beautiful and look younger. Even if we are in the sad situation, try our best to give the warmest smile to other people. Smile make people around us to happy.

Number four:
>Honesty always the best policy<

Be honest with everything and I don't like people to lie to me. It is okey to have a secret but never lying.


WHEN I BECOME A TEACHER:
I will blend all my philosophy of life and bring it in the classroom.

1)When I graduate and become a teacher later, I promise I will never give up to acknowledge my student despite maybe there are some of the student that are hard to handle. I will make them love chemistry like i do and teach them to be a better person in the future. INSYAALLAH..... I also don't want my student to give up. if they want to give up. I myself will encourage and motivate them so they can stand up again.

2) I want to always smile while teaching, dealing with students, dealing with colleague and with works. Even if i have a big problem like family problem, money problem or even if I sick, I still want to smile. I want to smile and make people happy and like me. Even if I am angry, I still want to smile brightly. :)

3)I want my student to always think positive way. For example, if they get low marks or having a though life, I do not want they to feeling down yet give up. I want they to believe it just part of life and I want to believe the same.

4) I want my student to be honest to me like if they do not finish the work that i give or they having a problem, tell me why. I don't want they to lie and I also don't like to lie. I am a tolerate person.

~Live life to the fullest. Life is short. make it meaningful or we will regret it later and do appreciate people around you because we never knew when they go forever and maybe us to leave them first...

Spreadsheet

Tool we use to do this spreadsheet is actually very familiar to us that is Microsoft Office Excel. Most of use had learned it before while in matriculation. So, it just like a recalled back. However, to me it was a total disaster since i am very not good in handling Microsoft office Excel. So, my friend had tutoring me and all of them teach me back from basic, like everything was started from zero. Luckily, I managed to remembered a little what had I learned before and could catch up with the rest of my friend. Thank you my friends!!!



Personally, I think that teacher should be teach and master on handling the spreadsheet because it is very useful and helpful more than we can ever imagine. Teacher can used the spreadsheet to kick in any data for example student marks and can compared the marks with following time. More, any type of graph can also be made in same time using the data that we have kick in. very easy and convenient. It help to lower the teacher's duty.

I am glad that i got the chance to learn how to handle spreadsheet.

How Easy Cam Studio

This week, we are introduced to Cam Studio. This week, we are introduced to Cam studio. Cam studio is a software that can recorded anything we do on the PC. Which icon we click, and then what we do next and more. Everything that we record is save in AVI file. We can also adjust the setting to make the recording easier like minimizing the area to start recording, adjusting region to be recorded- is it the close fixed size area or the whole screen and setting the keyboard shortcut so that we just need to click one button from the keyboard and start recording, click another one to pause and finally the button to stop. Cam studio will ask us to save the recording video automatically.

This is one of the example from you tube on how to use the cam studio.I believe that the individual who make this video use the setting fixed region since the image come out very big and focused.

This is another example that i get also from you tube about an anime drawing. He use Wacom Bamboo Funfor drawing and Adobe Photoshop Elements for drawing and colouring. and the final tools he use is Cam Studio for recording his action. I think he awesome and talented. It also very smart to think about using the cam studio for recording his drawing. :)




Learning cam studio also had an effect for me when I am start to use this cam studio to recording something from internet where we cannot download it but the document from online is very useful for our assignment. In a simple word, Cam studio help me a lot in my assignment and it is my life saver.. haha :)

One of the Inorganic Experiment Demonstration made by Pn. Johana at lab 2. We are amazed because it BURNING... Then, all of us having fun to get the chance to burn the paper with ours elf for the experiment. (^_^)

Picasa

Picasa is used to edit picture. There also other software that can do the same but what makes it difference is with Picasa, we can make the picture in slide form and make it as a movie. we can also post the edited picture directly to our blog. Function included in Picasa is like:

* Crop- crop the picture to size we want
* Straughten- fix the picture if the picture is not properly taken
*Redye- to fix the red eye on people, ususlly happen in night picture
* Auto contrast and auto colour - fix the picture to make it more beautiful
*Retouch- fix the selected area in a picture
* Text- add any text to the picture

There also some effect that we can do to the picture maybe to make the picture more futuristic or like an old picture or m0re:

The discovery of Smart Board

Today, we discover about smart board. If we do not know the function, at a glance it just like white board, nothing more but when we plugged it and use the software, WOW..

it fun!! seriously.

When madam showed to us the function include we all like ''waaa" and "oo000hhhh" and also the "fuyoooo"... We can on the spot draw or write something on the board used the 4 colour pen and with our finger too. The board is sensitive with touch and everything we drew came out exactly. It feels like we all were back a few years ago while we were kindergarden children and act today, we act like one.

Final word- Smart board is soo fun!




We can also edited and added something to our prepared slide for presentation using this smart board. Meaning that our presentation can be used on the smart board.

Third Week- Cool Iris

This week, we learn about something that really new. I never heard about it before. Never. The "never heard thing before" was COOL IRIS.

First time i heard the name I already imagined something that had to do with eyes because of the word 'iris' there. I always thought that 'iris' must related with eyes. :) But, when I saw with my own eyes what can cool iris do, the only word that came out from my mouth was COOL.. Didn't the reaction just like the name??

Cool iris was actually used for presentation but it was far more developed than the normal Power Point Presentation. It like we do the presentation in 3D image. It can be dragged, rolled, and do the slide change with only one finger.

It worked bests in Madam Apple Laptop. I guess modern software suits more with high type of laptop.

But, the best part was Cool iris software also included a videos of movie trailer, news and songs there. So, on our take 5 time, we grabbed the chance and watched the video. However, cool iris also had a little disadvantages that it cannot work offline. So, we always need an internet connection to do work in cool iris. The rest was thumbs up!.

Mixture of Smart Board + Picasa + Cool iris

Here it comes!!
The combination of Smart Board and a Picasa with a little bit Cool Iris.

This is my creation and i am proud of it (^_^)
Finally i had produce something this beautiful.
I used the signature of classmates on smart board application(which is actually it Madam and Disah idea to do the power point slide) and edit it in Picasa using the picture from "Majlis Berbuka Puasa".
The Cool Iris part is when I change the slide to JPEG form.
3 in 1 at the same time..

Smart Board is soo fun !

Second Week

~Finally, the real week started.
Our very first learning was the talk about Smart School. We were given an URL about Smart School so that we can explore more about Smart School.

Smart School Roadmap

There are things that we need to pay attention with this subject:

1) What is a Smart School?
2) How is Smart School differed from normal national school?
3) Goal and objectives of Smart School.
4) Role played by teachers, parents and students so that Smart School achieve it goals.
5) Knowledge that teacher should have to play an effective role in this Smart School education.

-All this point surely will help us to know what is actually Smart School.

-I quite interested to find out what is Smart School because i always heard about it from television and newspaper but never what knew exactly it is.

- Then from my reading, i knew that Smart School is one of the seven flagship in Malaysia Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) project.

- Generally, it aims is to increase the use of ICT in teaching and learning process in national school.

- When I think back, it is relevant why the ICT course is offered because we will be the one who will initite the use of ICT in class later.

- I am happy that we were given the chance to learned about this ICT and increased our level of knowledge.

First Week

During our very first week, nothing big happen. Madam Asmayati, our beloved teacher for this ICT class entered and she gave us an overview about this course. It looked and sounded fun because we get the chance to explore the use of ICT that can technically be applied to our teaching module. The example of software that we will learn later is like Cool Iris, Picasa, Camstudio, Blog and many more. Madam also decided to spread the class class into 2 group so that it easier for her to monitor us in a small number of people. I choosed to entered Group B at Thursday 1-4 p.m.

~believe or not, i once performed zapin in front of teachers and parents on the "Hari Kecemerlangan" and that's the only one....
~(i wear a red "Baju Melayu on that day- my family spent the hole evening search for the "baju" all around Banting to find one that fit me well and then the next year, the "baju" goes to my cousin because she also doing her "zapin".. cousin are like that.. :)
